I think this product is a great idea...
however, it leaks and the top gets stuck closed sometimes and requires much cursing and pounding to be able to pour your Negroni. The only advantage is that, being insulated, my hands don't get cold. But, my 50 cent Beefeater promo shaker does the same thing.

Probably the best shaker I have owned. If it leaks you either don't have the lid screwed on all the way down or did not push the flip top past the click. If it leaks from the strainer, remove the lid and if you can see the strainer grooves it's not closed all the way. The lid has a polymer gasket that seats when screwed down fully. If this is too complicated for you, quit hitting the Greygoose before you pour it in the shaker!

It seems to me that one thing a shaker should do is keep the drink in the shaker while shaking. Is this rocket science? Apparently so for this vendor because this baby leaks, spills, and splashes like a 75 year old wooden rowboat, or maybe my grandpa taking a leak.

This shaker seems to be a good deal. Ergonomically correct, simple design, problem is it doesn't work. The first time the "flip top" flipped to the open position and didn't "flip" back we returned it and got another one because that just was an anomaly, right? Sometime about the fourth use of the new shaker the same thing happened. I emailed the company representative and am still waiting for a reply. Meanwhile, working on the assumption that it couldn't be anymore broken, I sprayed the top with PAM cooking spray and tapped it lightly with a small hammer. Voila, it worked. I washed the PAM out and the shaker is back in business. I would not buy this again, but I now know how to fix it and wanted to share my solution.
